Denis Juneau at the MAC - Motion Graphics

This is an animation I created for an exhibition at the MAC on Denis Juneau, an optical illusion artist. The goal was to use the artists work as inspiration behind an introductory motion graphics that would be seen before entering the exhibit. I focused on Juneau's bright colour palette, moving circles and repetition that are found in several of his pieces. All the shapes are similar and follow the same colour scheme which helps the movie flow an establishes continuity from one scene to the next. Calm music was chosen to contrast against the vibrancy of the imagery and make the design feel more mindful, since optical illusions are all tricks of the mind.
